There is something about a well-worn baseball glove that no other object quite captures. The smell of the leather. The way it molds to your hand over years of use. The stitching pulled tight through every catch, every throw, every season. A great glove is not just a piece of equipment- it is a record of everything that happened inside it.
That is the feeling we are chasing.
Our Story
Diamond & Hide was not born in a boardroom. It was born at a baseball game.
The co-founders' relationship began at the ballpark- Matt played college baseball and Allison rarely missed a game. Baseball was the constant thread of their early relationship, and it has never stopped being central to their lives. Diamond & Hide is the natural extension of who Matt and Allison are- a way to build something meaningful from the sport that built their family.
Diamond & Hide is not a fashion brand that borrowed baseball as an aesthetic. Diamond & Hide is a baseball family that fell in love with leather craft. The idea was simple: take everything that makes a glove- the steer hide, the lacing, the stitching, the construction- and build something that could be carried everyday.
Something that lasts. Something that means something.
The Craft
Every Diamond & Hide product is built on the same principles as the glove that inspired it.
We use genuine full-grain leather selected for quality, character, and longevity. Our signature steer hide glove lacing- the same lacing used to string a baseball glove- runs through every bag , connecting each piece back to the game. Our interiors are lined in baseball pinstripe cotton, a detail that is easy to miss at first and impossible to forget once you see it.
At the center of every product in our DH monogram- designed by Matt, debased into the leather, and finished with a maker's mark that tells you exactly what you are holding.
These are not bags that look like they are inspired by baseball. These are bags built the way a glove is built- by hand, with intention, to be used and loved for a long time.
The Monogram
The DH monogram was designed by Matt Warren himself- an interlocked D and H with a diamond shape hidden in the negative space between the letters. It is a mark that rewards attention. The more you look at it, the more you see.
It appears on every Diamond & Hide product as a debased leather patch- subtle enough to be refined, distinctive enough to be unmistakable.

We use that phrase deliberately. Not because our customers play professionally- though some do- but because of what it means to play the game at a professional level.
